I can't add a priority option when raising an issue in Jira Ops

I am using Jira for incidents and issue reporting. There seems to be a description for priority, however I can't add it to the fields available when raising an incident. Is there a way I will be able to define a priority for each incident raised.

You need an admin to add the field to the "create" screen for the incident issue type.

Ok, so you can add it.

How? This is why I am asking here, I don't have an option to do so.

Go to project admin -> issue type screen schemes and descend into them until you find the create screen.  You'll be able to add the field there.
