Hello everyone,
I'm currently using Jira Cloud and have encountered a security concern regarding Confluence access. Whenever a user tries to access Confluence, they are automatically granted access without requiring admin approval. This automatic access poses a challenge, as we want to ensure that access is tightly controlled and only provided to authorized users after admin review.
Has anyone experienced this issue or found a way to prevent automatic access to Confluence in Jira Cloud?
Hi @Shaikh Abdul Rehman ,
You may want to check the following configuration in the Admin Hub: Control how users get access to products (as stated in the documentation, you'll have to be an organization admin to follow the steps in the article).
From User access settings you can configure if users from specific or global domains can 'self sign-up' to specific products under your organization - with or without admin approval.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Tom
It is highly likely that your organization admin (for all Atlassian Cloud access) is responsible for the undesired product access that you're observing. He/she can form groups to be able to manage the specific security you need.
Hope this solves your unexpected guest problem

Organizational admins do not use Jira for their work, they log into Atlassian's dedicated page: Atlassian Administration and then choose the organization they need to work on.
