Hi @Shyamal Ghosh,

My advice is to use Jira dashboards instead of reports for this purpose. They have the advantage of being highly customizable and displaying all project metrics in one central place, easily accessible by anyone interested.

Using native Jira gadgets in combination with gadgets introduced by apps/plugins available on the Atlassian Marketplace, you can create effective dashboards that you can your management to see progress in real time.

See some example of dashboards in these articles, some of them created with Jira's native gadgets and some by using the gadgets offered by our Great Gadgets plugin:

Hello @Shyamal Ghosh

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

What is the Type of the project you set up? Get that from the Type column on the View All Projects page under the Projects menu.

If it says "Team Managed", then you may need to enable the Reports feature for the project. You would do that by going to Project Settings > Features, and turning on the Reports feature. Here you see the feature turned off.

Thank you for the additional information.

A "business" type project does not have the Features option in Project Settings.

For such a project the Reports option is enabled by default and found among the options at the top of screen with the other navigation options.

This give you a selection of prebuilt reports geared towards this type of project. Burndown reports are not typically used for Business types of projects. Burndown reports are available by default for Software type projects.

This area does not support creating your own types of reports for addition to this area.

You can do additional reporting using Dashboards and the Gadgets available for Dashboards.
