I am New to JIra . How do we add teams to a project in JIra?

My Sprint started yesterday. Right now My burn down chart shows much less than the people working to this project.

I don't think there is any concept of Teams in a project in JIRA.

You can have issues assigned to users in a project . Those users can have various roles in the project and based on the role - they are permitted to work on issues in a project.

Thanks Vicke. So how does the burn down chart takes the capacity?

If you read what the Burndown Chart talks about - it says ;

How to read this chart

Track the total work remaining and project the likelihood of achieving the sprint goal. This helps your team manage its progress and respond accordingly.

If your stories in SPRINT has Story Points declared - depending on what has been completed and what hasn't - using the STORY POINT declared before the sprint ends - a chart is generated.

Other options to draw a burndown chart are - Time Estimates and Issue Counts.

Using these variables - the chart is prepared.
