I am JIRA Service Desk Admin but I can't use Service Desk

I am an admin for my company for JIRA & JIRA Service Desk. Yet I cannot even begin to test and use SD, logged in as myself. Are admins not allowed to play the role of users? How do I get around this? Do I need to add myself as a user - specifically for SD - as well as an admin? Currently at an impasse to do anything constructive with SD.

This widget could not be displayed.

Your admin rights are irrelevant - they grant you the right to do administration, not use the applications.

If you want to act as a service desk agent, make sure your account is in the Agent groups.  If you want to be a customer, make sure you can be a customer.
