How we can make a resolution field non mandatory at the time we issue a stroy? Edited

When we create anything in Jira the reslolution field is a mandatory field, however by all explanation that Attlassian provided, resolution means the story is already resolved and this resolution can be anything on the drop down menu, so the issue is being crossed out.

How we can make a resolution field non mandatory at the time we issue a stroy?

This widget could not be displayed.

It is not quite "mandatory" in JIRA speak.  The field is technically optional, but when placed on screen, it does not have an empty selection.

You can't change this without code.  The field should not be placed on create or edit screens, it should only be used on screens attached to transitions that go from an open status to a closed one.

One of your admins has made the mistake of adding it to the wrong screen, you need to remove it.
