How tp update a field in several cases at the same time.

I want to be able to update a single field in Jira - specifically the "Fix Version/s" feild - in several cases at once. I can search all the cases that this would apply to, but then how do I change that single feild value without updating each of the cases individaully.

Look for "bulk edit" in the tools menu on the issue navigator display (i.e. do the search for issues to amend and then look for it - you get to select/deselect individual issues as you go through it, so your search doesn't have to be perfect)

Edit: Oops, I forgot, you need to have the "bulk edit" global permission enabled for your account - check with your admins if you aren't one.
