How to write a Jira plugin that displays custom graphs?

I've written a Jira Report plugin and have been asked to add graphs in addition to the tabular data. How do I add graphics to my report (or is there another plugin type?)

Use a JavaScript framework for it. You can find many of them in the internet. Just type javascript framework graph in any search engine.
