How to show the newly added values in database in database selection field immediately?

Hi All,

I have database selection field in create issue. If I add new values to database, it takes 15 mins (approx) to reflect the newly added values in database selection field.

I have set cache.timeout as 1 in respective properties file.

# Cache Timeout (= 15 minutes by default). The actual db is queried only once and then the results are kept in the cache for the given timeout. Uncomment the line below to change it.
cache.timeout=1

But it is not immediately reflected.

Please advice.

Set that value to 0 and restart JIRA once (or enable /disable the add-on once)
