I would need more info here. How are you defining a project timeline in Jira today? It sounds like you are trying to use Jira like say MS Project where you have milestones. I'm struggling w/ understanding your question so that I might provide some insights.
Thank you, Jack. Yes, I am trying to use Jira as a project management tool where each project would have multiple milestones that would show up in the project timeline.(basically just adding a few dots in the long line in the "timeline" of Jira).
