How to run a transition on create issue?

I would like to know if it is possible to create some post actions on create issue on Jira.

It seems quite weird no to be able to run a transition when you create a new issue.

Any workarounds?

hi sorin..

i think "Create" is already a transition that opens the "Create Issue Screen" and puts the Issue in Status "Open" by default...

what exactly is the goal you're aiming at?

maybe it can be solved by postfunctions...

I want to change the issue security level when a specific component is selected in the create issue. Thanks.
