How to restrict custom field "User Picker (single user) " to popup for perticular project

Someone could help me below scenario

We are using JIRA version 6.1.5 due to IE version restriction

In one of project we are using custom field "User Picker (single user)" . When i create issues in that project it popup userpicker window and allows to use any JIRA user but we want to select only users assigned to that project only .

Please someone can help me to achieve these functionality

It seems your scenario is addressed by the feature request below:

As you are running a version earlier than the one containing the fix (6.2), I would recommend you to check the comments on the ticket above for plugins which provide this functionality.
