Hi

I would like to remove the status field for issue type "Test".

Is there anyway why not to apply the workflow for a particular issue type?

Thank all

you mean you don't want any statuses for 'Test' issue type issues?

yes this is correct. Issue type Test does not follow any particular workflow. Only Bugs (issue type bug do follow a workflow).

Do you have any idea of how to do this ?

By default every issue in jira follow some workflow but you cannot see any statuses by following:

1) you add a new workflow for 'Test' issue type and do not add any kind of additional steps and transitions.

2) Now in your workflow scheme, associate this new workflow to Test.

If your workflow is active, make a copy of it and add new workflow then associate to Test.

Now change the workflow scheme to Copy workflow scheme.

You won't be able to remove the field without code change. Workflow is an Morant part of what Jira is for, so status is pretty much essential. Having a workflow with a single status (so it's always the same for all issues) is about the closest you will get
