How to remove "Sprint" custom field from create screens?

We need total control over JIRA screens including the Create Screens to keep the creation of issues as simple as possible. Yet any Create Screen gets "enriched" with the custom field "Sprint" from JIRA Software. This is quite irritating.

Is there a way to restrict the appearance of the custom field "Sprint"?

Hi Sergej,

removing the Sprint field from a screen is possible. The field is locked from a field configuration perspective so you cannot hide it, but you can remove it from the actual screen. Click on Screens link and then uncheck the box for the create screen you want to remove it from.

The create screen could be any screen in the system so if you don't know which one is you have to check in the Screen Scheme configuration for example:
