How to put my Jira and Confluence together?

ishmain February 25, 2013

I saw your video about new features in Confluence 5. The menu that appeared from the top left corner a link to showed JIRA.

But in my case Confluence and JIRA are separate sites: JIRA sits at guidemorejira.atlassian.net and Confluence sits at guidemore.atlassian.net.

How can I put my Confluence and Jira together?

Thank you,

Hi Igor,

This is possible. The easiest way to move forward would be adding Confluence to your already Jira instance.
I can understand that you rather have Jira added to your Confluence based on the URL. Unfortunately due to a limitation of the environment this is not possible on the fly. To arrange this I would ask you to open a support case with OnDemand support. They will ask you to backup all your Confluence spaces and then they will completely remove the instance to free up the URL. After this you can signup again with Jira + Confluence. The Jira data can be exported and imported as well as the space exports you made.

Cheers,
Bas
