How to prevent Create Branch on Tickets with Done Status

Hello,

We have issues with developers creating branches via JIRA which are in a status of Done (and a resolution of Done).

Can the "Create Branch" in the JIRA Issue screen be removed or de-activated to prevent this from happening?

Thank you for reaching out.

Unfortunately, Jira does not have a feature out of the box to hide the "Create Branch" option for issues in a determined status, however, we completely understand how useful this feature would be.

That being said, we created the following feature request to get it implemented:

Disable "create branch" option depending on issue status 

Feel free to vote and watch the suggestion to increase its priority and also receive notifications about any updates.

For now, you can implement some Javascript code in order to hide that option from your issues. You can check the thread below to have some examples:
