Hi All

I want to know, how to move a Story from one project to the other project.

For an issue there is an option "Move", but for the story I did not find one

Any idea

Thanks in Advance

Shahzad

Hi @Shahzad Iqbal , a Story is an "issue". In fact all types in Jira are "issues". Are all of the issues in question in the same project?

Hi @Jack Brickey

Thanks for reply

Currently, I am only interested in moving Story type from one project to the other project. But I can't see the option Move with this.

Is this due to the setting of Projects

Shahzad

You need to have "move" permissions. If you are on a Company managed project (lower left corner) then this permission is set here - project settings > permissions - Move issues. Note that you will need move issue permissions on both projects.

Thanks @Jack Brickey

Yes, you are Right, i.e., Move Permission was Missing.

Which I have Updated & Granted to myself

(Edit Permissions - Project Role ⇾ Administrator).

After that, Move is visible in Story.
