How to move JIRA from a Windows computer to a Linux installation

Our JIRA version is v4.4.4#664-r167664. We would like to move our current JIRA installation (Windows) to a new Linux installation.

Migrating JIRA to Another Server should be able to help you most on the stuff you need to know.

Hello David,

If you choose to migrate the Content by using the XML Backup, the Operating System should not be a problem at all.
