How to map or sync jira (server) - portfolio and vice versa?

Hi all,
I have a jira (v7.3.7) and portfolio (v2.2.6), I am looking for mapping these two with each other.
I have certain issues in jira which I want to see on portfolio automatically
I have followed this link, but there is no "synchronization" option available.
also, i enabled "commit of changes" to "ON" in portfolio plan configuration but no luck.

Is there any way to do automatically sync complete jira issue with portfolio and vice versa.

That link looks to give instructions for Classic Plans, it sounds like you are using the new ones.  Issues created in JIRA should automatically come into your Portfolio plan, but can depend on a couple of things:

• For Issue Sources, make sure you are pulling from the correct Board or Project
• If using Board for the above, make sure there are no filters on your Filter Query in JIRA for your board

Is the problem you can't see the issues at all or just a limited view of them?

Issues from jira are sync with portfolio plan but I did not see the complete issue getting synced with the portfolio. some fields like "assignee".
so how can I map "assignee" from jira issue into the portfolio
