How to manage Retrospective in JIRA without confluence feature?

Andrea Queralt October 7, 2015

We need to manage Sprint Retrospective on JIRA environment but we don't want to add the confluence plugin, then we need to do it without confluence feature.

Do you know how to do it?

Thanks in advance.

You can try our Agile Retrospectives for JIRA app. It's very helpful and lets you turn action items into Jira issues (tasks, stories, epics, etc.)

Is there a Data Center version of "Agile Retrospectives for JIRA"?

My response is similar to Shannon's.  We may use JIRA for reference for the retro, but that is about it.  In reality, we may reference a story, buy 95% of our retros don't use JIRA or Confluence.  We end each retro with 1-2 action items, but those don't typically get added to any Atlassian projects.

I guess if you wanted to add something, you could add some type of Standard Issue type like 'Task' and write up any notes or action items there.

What do you mean, manage the retrospective? What specific functionality are you looking for? For example, we use the Agile board to close out sprints and as a way to see what we worked on that sprint, but if we wanted to take notes on what we did, we might be doing that separately in a shared OneNote notebook.
