How to make it available for link markup in Jira custom field?

 I would like to add new custom field in JIRA issue creation page which is for 'confluence link"

I know there is "link" option , but it is not displaying as field. My intention is to let user make a link with custom field while creating a JIRA issue.

What I have done so far is

• created new custom field : Free TEXT available with wiki style renderer
• When I input [Atlassian|http://atlassian.com] typo.
• There is no link created.

Can I make a custom field to add "link" markup in there?

Easy way;

When you add the new custom field use the URL field type;

If you need the wiki text renderer for additional information user the 'link' button when you add the information;

Or, you can use a combination of both... That's the only two ways I am aware of, perhaps someone else has another approach.
