How to link Jira to Confluence

Jordan Baczuk August 13, 2014

I'm trying to link Jira to Confluence to be able to share issues and users. I create a link using the application link addon and get this error: "Unable to auto-configure a Consumer as the remote Consumer-Info could not be found." I've got them both on the same server, but they are also linked to a remote domain name. I think it is having trouble linking them with their local IP's when in their settings they have a domain name for a base url. Is there anyway to get around this? I've looked here: https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/230871/error-when-linking-jira-and-confluenceI tried what was suggested, editing the setenv.sh and now jira is locked. Here is the last part of the logs (atlassian-jira log.txt)

Since your JIRA is locked and after reviewing at your logs, it could be because of plugins related problems. Please take a look at this KB and focus on plugins related resolution (there are 3 in there): https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRAKB/Troubleshooting+JIRA+Startup+Failed+Error
