How to link DevOps tasks with Scrum stories?

Hello All, 

how do you handle the following situation in Jira?

• DevOps team is using Kanban board for their tasks 
• Dev team is using Scrum board for their stories
• There is a story on the Scrum board that has 4 sub-tasks, one of them is a devops task that needs to be done

Problem is the DevOps team does not see these sub-tasks because its not raised against their project.Their project is not included in the scrum board filter.

What is the best way to display this sub-task so it can be followed up by the dev team as well as visible by the devops team?

Well if the DevOps team is doing it and they're working in different Cadence/manner than the Dev team - you'll probably want to upgrade that subtask to a real Issue and then create a link between them. That way they can be prioritized separately.
