How to know if a user has opened an issue ?


In Jira 5.2.x, I use notification to inform a user that an issue is in a specific status and a file is attached.

It works very well with transition and event. ( send mail to user)

But, i need to know if this user has opened the attached file or open the issue to consult it.

In history or activity, we cannot see that particular action.

How can i handle this? any idea?

I think, there is no way to do this (besides scanning the access log files...). You have to educate the users to "Start Progress" if they start working on an issue.
