My team leader sent me a link of his jira project, but when I clicked it, it said I do not have access to it? How should the leader change this?
Hello @泽熙 李
Welcome to the Atlassian community.
Do you have access to other projects in that same Jira instance? If not your team leader may need to ask the Jira Administrators to grant you access to Jira.
To access a specific project you need to be assigned to a project role or a User Group that has permission to access the project. in that project. The Project Lead will have access to assign you to a project role. If you need to be assigned to a User Group your team leader may need to get help from the Jira Administrators for that.
Hi @泽熙 李 ,
Welcome to Community :)
Here are few checks you would need to do
- Please make sure you have access to the cloud url the project is in
- For company managed projects please ask the the project admin to give you browse permission to the project
- For team managed project please aks the project admin to add you to the access by giving your member or viewer role,
Please check this for more details : https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/manage-project-permissions/
Thank You,
Prachi
