How to integrate Bamboo trial version with JIRA trial version?

I'm trying to integrate Bamboo Download with JIRA Download, both trial versions. They are both running as service locally on my Windows PC (I use them in different ports). I haven't been able to make it work.

Are you attempting to create an application link between the two apps? If so please check out this documentation: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/BAMBOO/Integrating+Bamboo+with+JIRA

If this is not your goal could you please provide some more details? Also can you please let me know if you are hitting any error messages or the like or what issues you are running into specifically.
