How to install script runner in jira 4.2.1

Hi All,

I have downloaded script runner from below link

https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.onresolve.jira.groovy.groovyrunner/version/133

where should i keep this jar file and how can i test

provide any step to follow

Hi Jobin,

1)Have downloaded scrilpt runner jar,version-1.7.13 for jira 4.2.1

2)Have placing scrilpt runner jar file in WEB-INF/LIB

3)Restarted jira

Error thrown:Have to Administrator--plugin--groovyrunner--

Here am getting error like "error loading plugin"

you will need one more jar , the groovy jar . Place this jar in the WEB-INF/LIB then restart.

1)Actually Have send email from jira 4.2.1 using groovy plugin.

2)How can i test it

see the email queue , or you can send it to your email id and check whether you recieved it.

1)On installing 2 jar files like groovy-all-1.7.10.jar and groovyrunner-1.7.13.jar

2)Am able to see script runner and script listener in jira 4.2

3)How can i send email when issue is created,here am using gmail smtp mail server

a)Have created new event and new template also

b)By using script listener,have add listener like "send a custom email "

c)Here after what have to do for sending mails
