How to Install JIRA software on mac

I have a Mac and I have done this several times. Its not supported by Atlassian, but they do make the capability available: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jira/installing-jira-on-mac-os-x-191501161.html.

I recommend installing Postgres and the pgadmin application to easily create your databases.

I am running JIRA 7.10 on OSX 10.13.6, with MySQL database. So far it works... :)

Just to tell that I'm still using my JIRA, and I never had an issue with it. Happy user :)
