How to import component assignee

Is it possible through import or similar automated mechanism to set the assignee associated with a JIRA project component? We are migrating from an old issue tracking system and have more than a thousand components which all need to have a default assignee associated to them.

Hello Benjamin,

I guess that you are using JIRA Importers Plugin ("External System Import" feature) - currently Component Assignee is hardcoded to "Project Default", so unfortunately you cannot customize it. I've created an imporvement request for that under: https://ecosystem.atlassian.net/browse/JIM-1387.

Couldn't this be accomplished using Jelly tags? https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Jelly+Tags#JellyTags-jira:AddComponent
