Hi,
We are migrating 2000+ tickets to JIRA from different system. There are atleast 5-6 attachements(files) on every new tickets.
How can I pass location of direcotory when I am creating/import JIRA tickets via CSV wizard?
Does it possible? Would JIRA be able to handle this?
Please let me know your input.
Thanks!
Hi Seema,
Yes, this is possible. :)
If you are using the JIRA CSV import functionality, you should follow the instructions on the document below:
https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Importing+Data+from+CSV
I hope this information helps.
Cheers,
Danilo
Hi Danilo,
Thank you for your response. I have looked at that listed link before but that CSV format requires me to provide individial attchemnt name and path to each column.
I do not know how many attachments new incomming tickets will have. It comes as a directory based on ticket id. I don't know how many attachments I will have per ticket.
So, that CSV format does not work that easily.
Thank you,
Seema
