How to hide the system users in the assignee dropdown menu

Anna Monros Bellart November 21, 2017

When I'm creating an issue and I want to choose the assignee, if I open the drop-down menu I can see several system users, such as Jira app for chat, Trello or Slack. I don't want to see these users in the drop-down menu. How can I do it?

One option would be deleting these system users, but it seems not possible.

Thank you

Hello,

There is the Assinable User permission in the project permission scheme. You must grant this permission to the users which you want to see in the Assignee field. I guess right now all users are granted this permission. You could for example grant this permission to a role in your project and include in this role only the users (groups of users) which you want to see in the Assignee field. Or you can grant this permission to a group of users where system users are absent.

You can read more about project permissions here
