How to hide the priority filed from only my project

How do I hide the priority filed from only my project?

Is there an easy way to do this?

All you need to do is create a field configuration scheme for that project with the field hidden

Can you point me in the right direction? Once that is created how do I point my project to it?

Go to Project Settings

You will see a page with all your configuration schemes (field, workflow, issue type etc).

Click on the Field Configuration Scheme

In the upper right you should see an Actions menu. Click this and select Choose another scheme.

Select your new field configurations scheme.
