How to give connection between two custom fields in JIRA?

Anusha Bandaru October 20, 2017

We are created two custom fields "Location" and "Places".

If i select one particular value in "Location" only related values are shown in "Places" Field.

Natively, you should use a "cascading select list" to do that.

But if you want a link between two separate fields, you're going to need add-ons to impose it.  The obvious one is the "Behaviours" module in Script Runner

Thanks for your response.

I want to give logic connection between default field and custom field.

That isn't the original question. It was 2 custom fields. Neither location or places is a default (system) field.

Cascading select list is helped with two custom fields.

I am having another requirement having one custom field and one default field.
