How to get the "Software project" options at Jira Atlassian SDK plugin?

Hi everyone,

I started out building Jira plugins with the Atlassian SDK.

If I want to create a new project in my local Jira, to test the plugin, but I only have the "Business Project" options and the “Software project” options are missing. I would like to test it with one of “Software project” templates since those have issue types and a workflow that's closer to our real projects.

Does anyone know why and how I could get the “Software project” options?

That is because Jira Software is not installed or licensed in your instance. Have a look at this related question if it helps you on!

Thank you, adding the <applications> element to my mvn pom did it.
