How to get the original Agile Simplified Workflow Back

Kristen Viscardi September 11, 2014

A member of our admin group edited the original Agile Simplified Workflow and now all of our Agile projects are messed up especially the Backlog status. Is there any way to download or reset this workflow to its original state? Currently we are using JIRA version 6.2.7 and our Agile version is 6.6, but the workflow version is 6.3.3 (on another instance we have Agile 6.4.4 which we would like to get on all of our instances.)

Not really.  A simplified workflow is a workflow built when you click "simplify workflow" and then modified by the column edits.  You could just re-simplify a project and then reuse the resulting workflow, or just work out what he's messed up and put it back.

Simplified workflows really are simple - a list of status, and each status has a global transition into it, with no conditions other than "must be a user in the project", no validators, and the "green" status transtions set or clear the resolution.  Edit the workflow back to that, and you'll be fine.
