How to get attributes of an Object that's referenced from another Object

I've created an Object which has another Object linked to, when I am trying to search for attributes of both Objects it doesn't show the attributes of the Referenced Object.

Unfortunately, Insight doesn't have the reporting capacity to show the attributes of a referenced object as a column in a search result for the parent object.

If you think about it, Jira kinda doesn't either. You can't search for some issues and then have a column that shows fields from linked issues.

Sometimes we think of Insight as modeled database tables and we want to create a "view" which has attributes from related objects, but alas...no joy.
