How to filter a JIRA Issue Calendar Gadget by User

Tim Plummer March 27, 2015

On my dashboard, I'm trying to view my open tickets with due dates on a Calendar Gadget.

When I click on Advanced Filter, a new window pops up and I can search by user.  However, I don't see a method to relay this search to the calendar itself.

I've tried putting: "searchOwnerUserName=my.name" into the "Project or Saved Filter" field, but it tells me "No project or filter specified."

Hi Tim,

Do you mean the JIRA Issues Calendar gadget? If that's the case, the "Advanced Search" is meant for you to search for projects or filters, and not by the user. If you want, you can create a filter that are assigned to you. For instance:

assignee = testuser

Save this as a filter and then select this filter in gadget. It should work.

Cheers,

Clarissa.

Can I filter issues in all projects by username? I tried "assignee = tim.plummer" but it said it was wrong. Will an issues calendar only issues for one project?
