How to enable/disable buttons based on user group ?

Workflow progress of a task happens in a specific way which involves both Developers and QA users. I wanted to know if there is a way to disable "Fix Passes QA" button in workflow if the user belongs to Developer group and allow it only to QA users ?

You would want to apply a "Workflow Condition" in your transition.

Yes, you can apply a group-based condition to the transition in the workflow such that it is only available to members of group "X".  That assumes you have a user group that contains your QA users.
