How to effectively assign Bugs to QA team after they're fixed?

TL:DR How do you set components to issues / tasks?

We are looking to auto assign all items that are 'claim fixed' status to a single team member (not the lead developer).

I see that with 'Post functions' we can assign to 'reporter' which does not do what we are looking for as issues can be reported by any team member.

I also see that with 'Post funtions' we can assign to 'component / lead developer', this seems like it might do what i am looking for. I've setup a new component with a default assignee, however i am unsure as to how i set a component to issues or tasks?

The component is a field the user is expected to fill when they create/edit the issues.
