Need to sort the order of tickets as per priority in Jira backlog

In a backlog ranking is the way to prioritize issues. The issue which is on top has the highest priority (to be solved) and the one at the bottom the lowest.
The field priority does not give you detail on which issue the team needs to work on first. All issues could have the same priority. But the ranking of issues is always clear.
The article @Vronik mentioned kust shows you that you can show the priority on the backlog/board. And that you can use swimlanes on the board to divide by priority. This is not available on the backlog
