How to disable www.google-analytics.com requests

Jørgen Johanson December 10, 2014

Hello!

I am using JIRA 6.2.3 on an intranet (no Internet access). I have noticed that JIRA makes frequent requests to Google Analytics (www.google-analytics.com). I am an JIRA administrator . The Google Analytics requests does not seem to happen for non-administrators.

How can I disable the Google Analytics requests?

I have checked the version 6.2 documentation also at: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA062/Data+collection+policy

It points me to "Administration > System > General Configuration > Enable Atlassian analytics".

However, under "Administration > System > General Configuration" I can not see "Enable Atlassian analytics"

Hi again,

Just noticed that in page referred to be the link above there is a statement:

"Older versions of JIRA (before 6.3.3) and some Atlassian add-ons for JIRA had their own options for analytics that collected information via Google Analytics..."

Since I am using JIRA 6.2.3, I am still not sure how to disable Google Analytics. How can I do this this in version 6.2.3?

Hi!

Thanks for the response!

However, under System > Advanced I do not have any "Analytics" settings?

Hello,

On this page: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Data+collection+policy there are details about what is collected and how to stop it. smile
