How do I get rid of this annoying notification?

You have requested access to an administrative function in JIRA and are required to validate your credentials below.

I am doing a lot of administration on several Jira instances and this just slows me down. That's just a anti-feature :(

Have a look at

http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Configuring+Secure+Administrator+Sessions

there is a property you need to add to jira-config.properties to disable this

jira.websudo.is.disabled = true

The best solution for you will be to increase the timeout to, say, 30 or 60 minutes. This means that if you do not do any administrative actions for 30 minutes, you will need to log in again. The default is 10 minutes which may be too short if you are working on several JIRAs. I do not recommend disabling the feature completely.

See https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Configuring+Secure+Administrator+Sessions "Changing the timeout"
