How to dependencyManagement on JIRA apps?

Recently I've come across 'confluence-plugins-platform-pom' from 'com.atlassian.confluence' which allows me to use <dependencyManagement /> tag on maven to delegate dependency versions to this pom.

   <dependencyManagement>
        <dependencies>
            <dependency>
                <groupId>com.atlassian.confluence</groupId>
                <artifactId>confluence-plugins-platform-pom</artifactId>
                <version>${confluence.version}</version>
                <type>pom</type>
                <scope>import</scope>
            </dependency>
        </dependencies>
    </dependencyManagement>

However I was really sad when I discovered that there isn't something similar in JIRA. How can I delegate dependency versions to atlassian, to ensure I'm always using of maven dependencies in my addons

This snippet should work out

<dependencyManagement>
<dependencies>
<dependency>
<groupId>com.atlassian.jira</groupId>
<artifactId>jira-project</artifactId>
<version>${jira.version}</version>
<type>pom</type>
<scope>import</scope>
</dependency>
</dependencies>
</dependencyManagement>
