How to create custom field type on jira-cloud

We are migrating jira server plugging into cloud plugging.  For that we are using attlassian connect spring-boot framework. Server plugging have a custom field and it's field type is also a custom field type which created by using Plugins2 framework. In this movement we are stuck because we are unable to any way to create  custom field type on jira cloud. Could you please give an solution for this problem.

Connect can't handle some of the complex things a p2 add-on can do for fields, but you can do some stuff.

Hi thanks for the quick reply. In our scenario ( server plugging ) custom field is rendered as a custom component and its contain separated three links. Its seems hard to achieve these kind of requirement with Issue Field module because its only support for string, text, single_select, multi_select, number type and Its not support to set custom UI template for the custom-field.

I think you are stuck with Connect - the field module really does only support those types of field.
