How to create a sub-task without Team field if it's required?

Hi everyone!

I've found this question before and understand that Jira Team Field is disabled for sub-tasks.
However i have another problem - we have a validator at workflow that makes Jira Team Field required for creating an issue. So we can't create a sub-task because of this validator, but need it for other issue types.

Can anybody help me to solve this problem please?:)

Does your sub-tasks use same workflow as that of other issue types ?

Yes, they're on the same workflow.
I thought about creating different workflow without validator for them, gonna make it if it's the only way:)

Hi @agurlo 

That's the way forward out of the box unless you have Jira Misc Workflow extensions plugin there we can specific a exclusion condition in validator.
