How to create a jira service desk project template?

Hi all,

I've created a project template for a JIRA service desk project, which compiles and allows me to create a project but when I try to open the project I get an error and the following appears in the logs.

Caused by: java.lang.RuntimeException: This is a Service Desk project, but we were unable to load the Service Desk project context. It may be possible to fix this error by converting this project to a different project type, and then converting it back to Service Desk.

While I can change the project to a business type and back again, this seems like a bad workaround. Is there something I can do to avoid this?

Thanks.
