Our org has a single project for hundreds of projects. Of the 500 teams in the project, we have two teams.
Is it possible to have a single board for two teams?
Currently we have two separate boards, which is difficult to use.
Presumably, we could create a filter to chose tickets from our two teams, and use that to create a board, but it doesnt seem possible to create this filter. What other options are there? Maybe we could use a label for all tickets, but this would lead to tickets created without the label not showing on the board, and becoming "lost".
Another option might be if JQL can list all tickets for a specific list of initiatives, and we try to not create new initiatives?
Hi @SH , the term "team" can mean a lot of things. In your case does it refer to the Atlassian "Team" feature? If so, have you tried editing the board's filter to be of the form - team in (a, b)...
Thanks for the reply. When you create a story or similar ticket, there is a drop down for team. Developers belong to a team. I tried creating an advanced search filter along the lines of team in (a,b) and team="a" but these either give an error or return no tickets. Reading the search documentation, they say that search on teams is not possible.
The board we are using is for the team. There does not seem to be any way to edit it. Im guessing its something system generated.

Note, our or places severe restrictions on jira. We can only create tickets and sprints, we cant edit workflows or create anything useful such as a project. We are looking for creative ways to get around the restrictions imposed.
