How to change the order of priorities?

I added a new priority of Medium.  

It created in the list correctly.  I then used the arrows to move the Medium priority up to the middle of the list, but when I go to my board and look at the priority, Medium shows at the bottom. 

Does anyone know of a way to get the drop down to sort correctly?
