In our workflow we have resolution and decline transition but many users are do not put comment during resolution or decline status and hence unable to identify exact reason for transition. Hence we want to make comment mandatory during declined or resolution transition???
Please help what are the ways to do it correctly !!
I suggest you create a custom field just for that comment. It will do two things, you can require it during the transition (several plugins will do that) and it will be easy to find and export for reports. I would suggest a select list with several common reasons for reporting purposes.
