How to change a resolution along with a status change?

I added new statuses and transtions such as "PASSED" and "INVALID" I made them both green (as not in progress or to do) and no further actions is needed after passed or invalid.

However, I notice even when I get the bug ticket to be passed, the resolution is still shown unresolved. after some search i was able to introduce a screen to pop up upon clicking on the transtion leading to the status. but i'm not happy about it, I would like the ticket to automatically change it's resoltion to DONE whenever the status is in either Passed or Invalid

I looked up post-function but couldn't made use of it

Look for the "set field" post-function.  It's standard, so you don't need add-ons.

ya, so i was able to go post-function --> update issue field --> next -- >resolution --> done
